Very good tasting fruit. Black Krim are renowned for their great, mildy-tart taste. My one plant always is the first to produce fruit out of all my other tomatoes varieties. Siberian Heirloom variety with medium size juicy fruit that has deep brownish-red flesh. It has a real tomato taste very good with a little salt. No problems with blossom end rot or sun scald. I do use liquid miracle grow early in the season to give them a head start on growth as well. The fruit is beautiful, green on the top and the rest is a dark black red. Black Krim is the first black tomato I've grown or tasted. I live in the Milwaukee Wi area in the suburbs near lake Michigan where Temps range from 60s in spring to 90s in late summer. The taste is excellent not exactly smokey, as ofdten described but defionitely more than most red tomatoes. The skin of a ripe "Black Prince" tomato is deep purple-maroon at the top, fading to red-maroon at the bottom. The lovely round fruit grow in small clusters of two to three and are the perfect size for salads.
