Several significant questions are left unanswered; this is not a simple 'unbelief to faith' story, but it will stir you deeply! An atheist hearing God's voice, the power of prayer and dealing with controversy, beliefs, guilt, forgiveness, love and purpose. This movie hit home I love movies based on true stories, I love movies that are based around God and this movie sure brought out all sorts of emotions. We are fed a steady stream of bad news and it's refreshing to see a movie like this one AND see it do as well as it is. A teen who falls through an icy Missouri lake and has no pulse for nearly 45 minutes comes back to life after his mother prays. The suspense was great. When Others Gave Up on Her Son, She Never Gave Up, She Stayed Positive Even In the Darkest Of Hours, She Repented & Told God She Was Wrong, Thats When God Came On The Scene for Her Son, She Totally Committed John to God.
