I live alone and cannot possibly get my w/c to the car stand fold it and put it in the trunk and the get to the driver seat.
Even the smallest grocery stores supplies us with motorized carts so we can shop.
You are right about the Disability Act.No store has to provide them. They are in fire code compliance, and ada compliment with regard to register height, bathrooms and every other ada compliment issue.I am a senior citizen and can walk but NOT thatentire stote, its huge. Sadly no scooters, wheelchairs or benches make this impossible.Having difficulty stalking the whole store is tough for me too! I only shop for yarn at Walmart now because they have carts for the disabled!Sad to say I cannot shop, Hobby Lobby or Michaels because they don't provide carts. A wheel chair is a nice touch.....but if you shop alone who’s going to push you?

What goes around comes around. As far as is known, that has not changed(August 2014). But I guess its Walmrts gain and their loss!I totally agree. I am handicapped and have a hard time doing a lot of walking and today is the second Hobby Lobby I have been in in the last few weeks and there is no where for a handicapped person to sit if they get too tired to walk, you need benches in different places in your store.
